ABOUT OUR SCHOOL

Junior Elementary is a small rural school within a community of roughly 685 resident located along the Tygarts Valley River. We house one class for each grade beginning with Pre-School and going up to fourth grade. The small atmosphere of Junior Elementary has a strong and committed Parent Teacher Organization (PTO) as well as a community that is willing to volunteer to make the academic and social surroundings of the school the best that they can be.

Our facility was built in 1980 with a competition of renovations during the 2009-2010 school year. The renovations included the addition of two Pre-School classrooms, newly tiled floor and painted walls.
